Ancient vines and olive trees alternate to form an ideal chessboard around the farm’s stone houses now transformed into charming residences to host the wine travellers of the third millennium in search of an authentic Tuscan experience. The vineyards, in compliance with the ancient Chianti Classico wine tradition, are composed of expertly recovered old vines and new Sangiovese plants together with varieties of Canaiolo and Colorino.

Freshness and balance in the taste make it a wine for the whole meal, soft and persuasive, ideal also to sip as an aperitif.

A rich and complex wine, with a remarkable aroma, a combination of persistent scents as red fruits, blueberry, violet. Soft and delicate on the palate with very smooth tannins, pleasant in its roundness. Its freshness perfectly balances the alcoholic degree giving it great harmony, a fine-tuning typical of the southernmost area of Chianti Classico.

An old-timey way once used within the rural Sienese community, “Cinquale” is the handshake that sealed a contract. For us it seals the love covenant between the producer and his land, an agreement bound to produce an elegant wine endowed to reveal the illustriousness Chianti Classico tradition. An austere wine, with hints of alcohol-soaked red fruits, tannic, with a spicy finish, full-bodied, with an acidity that makes the wine marvellously fresh and capable of superb aging in bottle.
